A Little About The Club
MOORLANDERS MCC
MOORLANDERS MCC
Although the club was established nearly 10 years ago a number of factors have contributed to the membership
numbers declining in recent years to only a handful now in 2009.  Some members have moved away from the area for work
or personal reasons, some inevitably just lost interest which wasn’t helped by the fact that there was no Egg Run last year (2008)
Therefore we are actively seeking and encouraging new club members at the moment, so if you or your partner/wife/boyfriend/
girlfriend have a bike and would like to become involved with our family friendly club then please use our feedback form from
the Contact Us link above to let us know a little about you and what you ride etc.  Alternatively you can just turn up for one of our
meetings, which will be held once a month on a Saturday evening throughout the winter months at 8.00 at the Kings Head in Five Lanes
near Launceston, just off the A30 dual-carriageway.  The next meeting will be shown on this page as soon as date/time etc. have been
agreed with existing members.
We would really like to meet you, so please feel free to bring your partners/friends along with you if you want to. The more the merrier !
We are struggling to generate interest in the club just now and are really crying out for some “new blood” to inject some
new ideas and enthusiasm.
The last club meeting on the 14th October was quite promising and we had a record turnout of 6 members and 1 prospective member !
A little bird tells me that there is a BBQ planned for 2.00 - 2.30 ish in the afternoon of 31st October (Halloween) and for those who want
more entertainment in the evening it is Camelford Carnival Night also.
More details of time/location will follow as and when they are confirmed to me.
